Eschuri Vung Bau Golf lies along the northwestern coast of Phu Quoc Island, adjacent to Vung Bau Beach. The course offers a journey from dense, ancient forests to the open coastline, with the front nine weaving through preserved old-growth trees and the back nine opening to expansive views of white-sand beaches and the South China Sea. Hole 14 stands out, providing a direct view of the sea, especially striking between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM when the sun sets over the island. The 18-hole, par-72 course stretches 7,508 yards and is designed to challenge golfers with its diverse terrain. The front nine requires strategic play through the forest, with subtly undulating greens that can be unpredictable. The back nine transitions to wider fairways along the beach, where strategically placed bunkers demand precise shot planning. The greens here are more undulating, adding to the challenge. The clubhouse reflects traditional Vietnamese architecture, featuring a spacious lobby inspired by the three-entrance gates of northern communal houses and pagodas. CoCo Restaurant, within the clubhouse, draws inspiration from the Hue Imperial Court and can accommodate up to 150 guests, with VIP rooms for 40. The clubhouse also includes glass windows offering panoramic views of the course.

Hole 1 · Par 4
Waste bunkers run down both sides of the fairway, with most of the sand on the right as you near the green.
Favour the left side, away from the sand on the right.
Hole 2 · Par 5
A three-shot par 5. Waste bunkers sit in the landing area from the Black, Yellow and Blue tees, and water crosses the fairway 110 yards short of the green (380 yards from the Blue tee). Bunkers in front of and behind the green make the approach demanding.
Lay up short of the water and leave yourself a full shot in.
Hole 3 · Par 4
The third-hardest hole on the card. Large trees stand in the fairway and get in the way of the approach, which plays to a green guarded by bunkers front and back.
Pick your side off the tee to keep a clear line past the trees.
Hole 4 · Par 4
The hardest hole on the course. Three big trees are placed to complicate the line, and a long bunker runs beside the green, so the short game is tested too.
Choose the tee line that keeps the trees out of your approach.
Hole 5 · Par 3
A par 3 with a lake down the left that runs almost to the green, and bunkers to the left of and behind the putting surface.
Miss right: left is water or sand.
Hole 6 · Par 5
A par 5 with a waste bunker along the fairway. Four bunkers in front of and behind the green make the approach the hard part.
Get the yardage to the flag right; short or long finds sand.
Hole 7 · Par 3
The shortest hole on the course, with a large bunker right in front of the green.
Take enough club to carry the front bunker.
Hole 8 · Par 4
Big trees line the tee and the fairway, making it one of the prettiest holes and a tight drive. There is only one bunker, near the green.
Keep it straight off the tee; the trees are the main danger.
Hole 9 · Par 4
Home to the largest waste bunker on the course. Bunkers sit on both sides of the fairway, and a lake runs down the left from 100 yards out all the way to the green.
Keep the approach right of the lake.
Hole 10 · Par 4
A bunker guards the shortest line off the tee, and three more surround the green, with a big tree in front of it.
Only cut the corner if you can carry the bunker.
Hole 11 · Par 5
The longest hole on the course. Waste bunkers run down both sides, mostly on the right, trees line the fairway, and bunkers ring the green.
Favour the left side to stay clear of the sand on the right.
Hole 12 · Par 4
Bunkers placed in the fairway and all around the green test every shot on this par 4.
Hole 13 · Par 3
A par 3 played over water, with three bunkers around the green.
The water is in front: take enough club.
Hole 14 · Par 4
Home to the longest waste bunker on the course, with three bunkers around the green and a big tree on the left of the fairway. The second-hardest hole on the card.

Hole 15 · Par 4
The shortest par 4 on the course. A waste bunker runs down the left from tee to green, and a bunker sits in front of the green.
Favour the right side off the tee.
Hole 16 · Par 5
Six large bunkers are spread from the fairway to the green, so every shot needs to be accurate.
Hole 17 · Par 3
A long par 3 with a large waste bunker running all the way from tee to green.
The waste bunkers play as general area under the local rules, so you can ground your club.
Hole 18 · Par 4
A dramatic finish: water runs down the right from tee to green, with sand on the left of the fairway and on both sides of the green.
Aim left of centre; right is water all the way.
Local rules
Waste bunkers and natural sand areas are general area, so you can ground your club. Planted flower beds along the cart paths are no-play zones: if your ball lands in one, take a free drop outside it. Carts may leave the path only where signs or your caddie allow. Pace of play is 2 hours 15 minutes per nine. Damaging a green is fined at least US$100 (2,000,000 VND) per incident.
