Hole 1 · Par 4

A strong opening par 4 and one of the hardest holes on the card. The fairway is wide, but bunkers short of the green and an undulating putting surface make the approach the real test.

Use the width off the tee, then play to the safe part of the green. An approach that clears the front bunkers beats one that chases the pin.

Hole 2 · Par 4

A shorter par 4 with a fairway bunker that tempts long hitters, playing up to an elevated green.

Carry the fairway bunker for a wedge in, or bail out right and accept a longer approach to the raised green.

Hole 3 · Par 5

The first par 5. The best angle into the green is from the right side of the fairway, which is exactly where a huge bunker waits.

Only take on the right side if you can carry the big bunker comfortably. Landing in it costs at least half a shot.

Hole 4 · Par 4

The hardest hole on the course: a long par 4 whose fairway splits around a massive central bunker.

Pick a side of the big bunker before you tee off and commit to it. From the sand, reaching this green in two is very hard.

Hole 5 · Par 3

A par 3 over a sandy waste area to a long, rumpled green with a Biarritz-style swale running across it.

Check which side of the swale the pin is on and club for that level. Finishing on the wrong side leaves a tricky putt through the dip.

Hole 6 · Par 4

A par 4 with a generous fairway and a green about 50 yards wide. Two unmown mounds in front of the green create a wide range of pin positions.

Long hitters should watch the fairway bunker jutting in on the right. Note where the pin sits against the mounds before choosing your approach line.

Hole 7 · Par 5

The second par 5 on the front nine, a three-shot hole for most golfers with a wide fairway and strategically placed bunkers.

One of the easier holes by stroke index, so it is a good chance to score. Keep the lay-up clear of the bunkers.

Hole 8 · Par 3

A short par 3 over a massive bunker and sandy wasteland to a green with plenty of movement and some tricky pin positions.

Take enough club to clear the big bunker. Long is better than short here.

Hole 9 · Par 4

A demanding par 4 to close the front nine. A bunker short of the green makes the approach hard to judge.

Trust the yardage rather than your eye. The bunker in front makes the green look closer than it is.

Hole 10 · Par 5

A beautifully bunkered par 5 with a memorable green complex you can see from the fairway. With a right-hand pin, the flag seems to float against the sea behind it.

Plan the hole backwards. Place your second shot away from the bunkers to leave a full wedge into the green.

Hole 11 · Par 4

A short par 4 littered with bunkers around the landing area and the green.

Choose position over power. A controlled tee shot leaves a short iron in, while a wayward driver finds sand.

Hole 12 · Par 3

A long par 3 and the second-hardest hole on the course: a long carry over waste bunkers to a well-shaped green, with the clubhouse behind.

Take enough club for the carry and aim for the right section of the green. The shaping punishes a ball on the wrong side.

Hole 13 · Par 4

A mid-length par 4 where the fairway bunkers decide the line off the tee.

Choose a line that keeps the fairway bunkers out of play rather than reaching for driver by default.

Hole 14 · Par 3

The shortest hole on the course: a par 3 surrounded by bunkers, with a wild, heavily contoured green.

A real birdie chance. Land on the correct part of the green, because the contours can carry a ball well away from the pin.

Hole 15 · Par 4

The start of the seaside finish. It is the tightest tee shot on the course, with a large bunker in the line of play and the ocean on the left. The approach crosses a valley to a green beside the beach.

Choose your line before teeing off: bail out right, carry the big bunker, or go left for a shorter approach. Allow for the wind off the sea.

Hole 16 · Par 4

A dramatic seaside par 4 that runs alongside the beach, framed by coastal dunes and restored natural vegetation for a pure links feel.

Choose your line and tee distance carefully to balance aggression with control on this wind-exposed coastal hole.

Hole 17 · Par 3

A beachfront par 3 played toward a large, rolling green with sweeping views of the Eastern Sea and the Cham Islands.

Wind off the sea and the chosen tee angle can change the shot dramatically, so commit to your club and preferred trajectory.

Hole 18 · Par 5

A sweeping par 5 where natural water shapes a snaking fairway and a distinctive 'lion's mouth' bunker guards the green, creating a demanding finish in the prevailing wind.

Prioritize smart lay‑up positions to avoid the water and set up a controlled approach that steers clear of the lion's‑mouth bunker.
